This policy explains what data AppShotter collects, how it is used, how long it is retained, and your GDPR rights.
1. Data we collect
We collect account data (name, email), imported content (screenshots, texts), technical metadata (logs, usage), and billing data required to run the service.
2. How data is used
Data is used to provide the service (editing, AI translation, export), secure the platform, process billing, and improve product quality.
3. Processors
We rely in particular on Stripe (payments), Resend (emails), OpenAI (AI translation), Neon (database), and Vercel (hosting).
4. International transfers
Some processors may process data outside the European Union. Where applicable, transfers are safeguarded using GDPR-compliant mechanisms (including standard contractual clauses).
5. Retention
Account data: retained during account lifetime, then deleted within 30 days after account deletion. Project content: deleted within 30 days after account/project deletion. Technical logs: retained up to 12 months. Billing records: retained up to 10 years when legally required.
6. Cookies and trackers
We use strictly necessary cookies for core operation (authentication, security, session). If analytics or marketing cookies are enabled, a consent mechanism is displayed before such cookies are set.
7. Your rights
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by contacting hello@appshotter.io. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority.
